A Beginner-Friendly Daggerheart One-Shot of Corporate Fantasy Chaos
Welcome to Peril to Profit™. A funny, cinematic fantasy adventure set in the Goldspire Territories, a glittering frontier where heroic quests are sponsored, safety waivers are magical, and corporations insist every disaster is an exciting opportunity. Adventure is mandatory. Survival is encouraged. After all, there is no profit without peril.
Tonight, you do not need to know the rules. You do not need to have played Daggerheart before. You do not even need to know what a tabletop roleplaying game is. You only need curiosity, a little imagination, and a willingness to ask the most dangerous question in corporate fantasy:“Who profits from this?”
Your crew has been hired for a simple job: deliver a ward-stone to a small village at the far end of an old forest road. The villagers have paid dearly for this magical protection, hoping it will shield their homes from the strange creatures and growing dangers pressing in from the wilds. On paper, it is a clean delivery contract. Professional. Necessary. Corporate-approved. The road, of course, has other ideas.
The forest shifts. The wildlife does not behave the way the brochure promised. Something out there seems drawn to the ward-stone, and the closer you get to the village, the more the job stops feeling like a routine delivery and starts feeling like a setup.
Because in the Goldspire Territories, danger does not always arrive as a monster in the woods. Sometimes, it comes pre-approved.
The Goldspire Messengers is a complete one-night adventure in the Peril to Profit™ universe: part fantasy road trip, part action-comedy, part interactive theater, and part “why is management still sending us memos during combat?” You will make choices, solve problems, roleplay dramatic moments, roll dice, face strange creatures, and help shape the story as it unfolds.
This event is designed especially for beginners. You will choose from ready-to-play heroes at the table, learn the game naturally as we go, and be guided through the whole experience by the GM. No homework. No rulebook required. No pressure to perform voices or already know what you are doing. The table is there to help you succeed, laugh, experiment, and discover what makes tabletop roleplaying feel magical.
Come for the mysterious path to profit. Stay for the cute animals, questionable corporate ethics, heroic chaos, and the moment you realize collaborative fantasy theater with dice might be your new favorite hobby.
