Standard is a format that showcases Magic's newest cards from only the past couple years at a time. The metagame evolves and transforms with each new set that comes out, so there are always new and exciting decks around the corner!
This event will consist of three rounds of Swiss, best of three each round. At the end of the event, prizing will be awarded according to records.
Each player in the event will add $15 store credit to the prize pool. 3-0 and 2-1 players will split that amount of store credit accordingly.
For example, if we have 12 players, that's $180 store credit in the prize pool. Let's say there are two 3-0 players and five 2-1 players. We would give half the prize pool to the 3-0 players and the other half to the 2-1 players. Therefore, each 3-0 player would get $45 store credit, and each 2-1 player would get $18 store credit.
The more players we have, the bigger that prize pool gets! We also have Avatar and Edge of Eternities promos to give out to 3-0 players while supplies last!
