Join us at Mox for the prerelease of the fantastic Avatar: The Last Airbender set! Players in this event will receive a special Avatar prerelease kit containing everything they need to save (or dominate) the world!
Players will then open their kits, build 40-card minimum decks, and play three rounds of Swiss, best of 3 each round. At the end of the event, each player will receive two Avatar boosters per match win, one per draw, and one just for being there! For example, a player whose record ends up at 2-0-1 would receive 4 for the wins, 1 for the draw, and 1 for participation, for a total of 6 Avatar boosters.
Since there are five different prerelease kits, players who sign up via this listing will be given the opportunity to rank their choices of which type of kit to receive. Each kit will contain 5 normal Avatar booster packs as well as a special character booster pack. The five choices of characters are:
- Aang (White)
- Azula (Black)
- Katara (Blue)
- Toph (Green)
- Zuko (Red)
Players are not obligated to play the colors matching their kits, but their sealed pool will likely be strongest in that color due to the character pack's contents. The kits will be spread as evenly as possible across multiple events, so that players in later events have the same access to their top choice as players in earlier events. In the inevitable circumstance that too many players choose the same thing for their first choice, priority will be given based on who signed up for the event earlier.
This should be an exciting event full of familiar locations and characters from all four nations! We will be hosting this and similar events at several different times throughout prerelease week.
