Join us at Mox for another epic Star Wars Unlimited Showdown! This will be an exciting afternoon of Star Wars action as players battle for supremacy over the battlefield! Will you champion the light side or the dark side?
This will be a Constructed Premier tournament, with enough Swiss rounds to determine an accurate top 8. At the full capacity of 32 players, it will be 5 rounds of Swiss. We will also be giving out the various Showdown Kit prizes IN ADDITION to our normal prizing for this event.
For starters, every player will receive an Organized Play pack from Secrets of Power. For every player in the event, THREE booster packs will be added to the prize pool. At the end of the event, players in first, second, third, and fourth place will be awarded booster packs of their choice from the pool based on their placement. At the full 32 players, first place will receive 48 packs, second will receive 24, and third and fourth will each receive 12. Players will be able to choose any normal SWU booster packs that we have in stock, as well as store credit at a rate of $5 per prize pack they would receive.
On top of the normal prizing, every player will receive a First Light promo and the top 8 players will receive their corresponding Queen Amidala promos. We will also be giving booster packs to all players from the Secrets of Power box that we received as part of the Showdown Kit. Note that these packs cannot be traded for store credit.
What does all of this add up to? Lots of prizes! All for only a $15 entry! Pre-registration is open, sign up quick before the seats are all taken!
Note that there will *not* be a cut to Top 8 for this event. Showdowns are meant to be a step above weekly play in terms of competitive nature, so determining an accurate Top 8 and prizing based on standings is appropriate.
